The Entrepreneurial Development Cell (EDC) at TKR Institute of Management & Science (TKRIMS) is dedicated to nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset by fostering innovation, creativity, and leadership among students. The Cell empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures.

The EDC bridges academic learning with industry practices by organizing Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes, Startup Bootcamps, Business Plan Competitions, Innovation and Design Thinking Workshops, Guest Lectures by entrepreneurs, Industry Visits, and Financial Literacy programmes. It also provides mentorship, startup guidance, and incubation support to encourage students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

Through collaborations with industry experts, Startup India, MSME, innovation centres, financial institutions, and startup ecosystem partners, students gain valuable exposure to contemporary business practices, networking opportunities, and funding awareness. The Cell also promotes experiential learning through live projects, market surveys, business simulations, and product innovation challenges.
