The Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) at TKR Institute of Management & Science (TKRIMS) is committed to maintaining a disciplined, ethical, and academically conducive environment that fosters the holistic development of students. The Committee promotes a culture of responsibility, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect while ensuring compliance with the institute's rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
The Committee is responsible for monitoring student discipline, addressing cases of misconduct, conducting fair and impartial inquiries, and recommending appropriate corrective and disciplinary measures. It works closely with faculty, administrative staff, and student representatives to uphold campus discipline and create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
The Committee oversees matters relating to student conduct, attendance, punctuality, academic integrity, responsible use of institutional resources, campus decorum, and ethical behaviour. It emphasizes preventive and educational approaches by organizing orientation programmes, awareness sessions on professional ethics, leadership development workshops, counselling, mentoring, and programmes on digital citizenship, conflict resolution, and responsible behaviour.
The Disciplinary Action Committee follows a transparent and structured process for addressing disciplinary matters. Complaints are reviewed impartially, relevant facts are examined, and recommendations are made in accordance with institutional policies while ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and due process. Wherever appropriate, counselling and mentoring are provided to encourage positive behavioural change.
Students are expected to uphold the values of honesty, discipline, respect, and professionalism by adhering to institutional regulations, maintaining academic integrity, protecting campus property, using digital platforms responsibly, and contributing positively to academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.
Through continuous awareness programmes, mentoring, counselling, and transparent disciplinary practices, the Disciplinary Action Committee reinforces TKRIMS' commitment to nurturing responsible, ethical, and value-driven management professionals. By promoting self-discipline, accountability, and leadership, the Committee plays a vital role in creating a positive campus culture that supports academic excellence and holistic personal development.
